Ten years ago, I was looking for answers.
My husband and I were trying to have a baby, and having nothing but problems. We had experienced repeated miscarriages and not only did no one have a reason why, but it seemed like no one was willing to it try and it figure out. We were just told to keep trying.
We were feeling helpless and powerless.
That was when I decided that doing nothing wasn’t an option. A friend recommended that I see a naturopathic doctor and suddenly I found myself with someone caring, who made me feel respected and heard. It was through her that we discovered the likely cause of our fertility issues, and I am grateful every day since that we have gone on to have three beautiful daughters. I have spent most of my professional career in healthcare, but it was that experience that opened my eyes to the possibilities of naturopathic medicine and I vowed I would spend the rest of my life helping others in the same way I was helped.
